Randall P. Hallier, CFP®

Randy serves as president of Financial Workshops, LLC and is the founder of Retirement Plus, Inc. After attending the University of Kansas as an education major, he entered the financial services industry in 1979 and started his first firm in 1988. Since then, he has become one of the most active public speakers on employee training in the country, having conducted over 800 workshops nationwide. Randy is a veteran of numerous TV and radio appearances and his program, "Woman Taking Control of their Finances," brought him national recognition on the FOX TV Network in 1998.

A prolific writer and author, Randy released The Ten Major Mistakes People Make in Retirement Planning and a similar version for federal employees in 2003. The release of his new books, Your Guide to Planning and Enjoying Your Retirement and The Federal Employee's Ultimate Guide to Retirement, are scheduled for release in 2004.

Randy: "When employees learn to effectively plan the financial area of their lives and apply the principles we teach in our workshops, it's invigorating. When I see, in the eyes of even one attendee that they get the point, perhaps for the first time in their life, I'm as excited as they are!"

Steven L. Cooper, CPA

Steve attended the University of Kansas and Washburn University with a major in business administration and a degree in accounting. He is a member of the AICPA and a practicing CPA with Mize, Houser & Company, dealing with corporate and individual clients throughout the Midwest. Steve oversees the Tax sections of our programs and has provided invaluable services to the firm, our principles and our clients for nearly two decades.

Steve: "I know of no other profession, which can provide such immediate and important benefit to the client as the financial service provider. This is due to the almost total lack of public education about personal finance and tax planning. This is what makes my work so fulfilling, not the esoteric corporate planning, but helping individuals one at a time enhance their economic well being."

Peter A. Mallouk, J.D., MBA, CFP®

Peter attended the University of Kansas and graduated with four majors. In addition to serving as an estate planning attorney, Peter has also earned the CFP® designation. A highly sought after speaker and educator, he has given hundreds of lectures to professional organizations across the country. He consults with us on the Estate Planning and Investment sections of our financial workshops.

Peter is the principal of the Will & Trust Center, which focuses primarily on helping clients implement estate-planning documents to carry out their wishes, avoid probate, eliminate estate taxes, and plan charitable giving.

Peter: "Few things are as important as your family and your assets. What I love about my profession is the ability to help people protect their family and their assets for which they have worked so hard."

Susan C. Stevens, BA, MS

Susan also attended the University of Kansas where she obtained her undergraduate degree. She holds a masters degree in human resource development from Pittsburg State University. Susan has worked in the human resources, training and education realms for nearly 25 years. She has been instrumental in the development of several Financial Workshops, LLC programs.

Susan: "As women, it is important to achieve life balance. We need to balance each of the four major aspects of our lives - Financial, Educational, Spiritual and Health. Too many women neglect the financial realm and lack the security it should provide. I want to work with women to assure they will have the knowledge to make decisions that are right for their future."
